Phobias and Fears 

Hypnotherapy is a wonderful tool for phobias and fears with fast and lasting results. Phobias are far more common than we realise, its estimated over 10% of the population has a phobia- an irrational fear leading to a usually overwhelming physical response. The most common fears are: confined spaces, dentists, heights, flying, needles, spiders and vomit. Whatever your fear is, I understand that it takes a great deal of willpower and determination to face it.

 

We will look at the cause of your fears and help you to feel in control, giving you the skills to calmly face your fears. Phobias are usually a learned behaviour, sometimes from an experience or sometimes from a parent or carer

 

Through hypnotherapy you can change your unwanted thoughts and behaviours so that you can change how you feel about your fears. There many be other tools utilised to help you overcome your phobia. Phobias can often be reduced in 1-2 sessions although as we all differ it can sometimes take more, usually up to 5 sessions.

 

We will begin by finding out the impact and severity of you phobia and come up with a specific plan to work to resolve it. We will use hypnotherapy and if relevant other therapeutic tools to help you reduce and resolve your phobia,
