Groups

There are many benefits to choosing group therapy, it provides an opportunity to be around people with similar experiences to you, to share and learn from each other. Group therapy can show you that you are not alone, they are powerful settings encouraging learning and growth

Group therapy can help with improving communication skills, they can help you to find your voice, improve your boundaries and increase your confidence. Groups can be a rewarding an empowering experience where you can reflect, increase your awareness and flourish

Groups can be particularly beneficial for children as they can practice social skills, experience positive experiences with peers, reduce social isolation and reduce stress. They are a safe space to express emotions and learn from others

I have been running groups for over 10 years, starting with an art group for adults with learning disabilities, part of my NHS work was group facilitation and I have been running my Creative Coping Skills Group in and out of schools
